The guiding influence on Yana’s design process is the fact that both her education and family roots are in Architecture. Having worked as project manager in numerous New York architectural firms on both high-end retail and residential design, she opened Yelina Interiors in 2010. Integrating the disciplines of Interior Design and Architecture provides essential insight to her creative process. Yana draws inspiration from art, travel, furniture design, and the diverse needs and personal styles of her clients.

While studying Architecture at Pratt Institute, Andy spent summers apprenticing in construction. This practical experience impelled his grounded approach to design, fundamental understanding of architectural details, and respect for natural building materials. After graduating in 2004, Andy spent 11 years working in architecture firms in New York, including three years of specialized architectural lighting design experience. After working at Tsao McKown Architects, Andy joined Yelina Interiors in 2015. Andy received his LEED certification in 2013 (U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and is working towards completing his architectural registration in New York.
